Our unique folding knife Pältsa is designed by us in Karesuando, based on the demands of nature and our Arctic everyday life on a knife. The result is a flexible and lightweight knife with a thin blade that is suitable both at home and in the mountains. 

Our requirements for functionality are the focus of the design - but as usual we have used materials that we know and feel at home with. Swedish steel and local raw materials such as reindeer antler and wood. The knife is also available in a material that is new to us, the super light and strong material Micarta. 

The mechanism is from Italian Fox Knives, which has been developing this technology for generations. In a similar knife village to ours, but in northern Italy.
